This course focuses on the administration of blinatumomab in pediatric oncology. The course aims to identify the key responsibilities of nurses in ensuring safe and consistent administration of blinatumomab, recognize the challenges associated with at-home administration, and discuss solutions implemented by clinical teams to address these problems. Additionally, the course will describe the methods used by institutions to create new protocols and standards of operating procedures for the infusion of blinatumomab. It will also highlight the need for standardization in the creation of educational materials for both patients and nursing staff when new clinical trials are initiated.
