Blinatumomab, a bispecific T-cell engager (BITE), is a targeted immunotherapy used in treating pediatric B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). With its indications recently expanding, more children are now receiving this innovative treatment. Blinatumomab presents unique side effects and requires specific administration protocols. As frontline caregivers, nurses must be equipped with knowledge about its special considerations, potential adverse reactions, and appropriate treatment strategies. This session is designed to will ensure you are prepared for Blinatumomab’s evolving role in pediatric care.

  • Understand the evolution of Blinatumomab in the treatment of pediatric B-ALL
  • Analyze the nursing considerations when administering Blinatumomab
